Female figure with child

Hello everyone,
This is a detail of a larger composition that I was asked to do for a church in Segovia, and which I finished last month. It is for a part of the church dedicated to the Holy Innocents, hence the theme. I was told that it had to have a traditional classical flavor. Oil on linen. Hope it can be viewed well. Thanks for viewing.

Carlos

HI Carlos -

Looks good - Please don't tantalize us with just one detail - any chance of posting the whole thing?

The colors are very subdued on my monitor - I'm wondering if they are correct.

Hi Carlos -

Thanks for sharing the full painting. Still looks a bit grayed down, but the color is a bit better.

Wow - how long did this take you? Lots of detail, very classic feel.

I bet the church is very happy!

Thanks Julie, Patricia for your time and comments.
That was the best I could do with respect to the colour on the screen. It does look a bit richer in colour when the canvas is in front of you, but not THAT much.
In response to your question, Julie, the painting took me about 2 months all in all, preparatory drawings included. it wasn
