I started this today 25" x 19" on Canson. It was originally in the resource photo section with him on the beach. It is a picture of my son from 1.5 yrs ago, and an expression I remember so well. I really didn't want a portrait of him on the beach. I don't know what struck me to do it on a black background. Do you think this is working, or no? If so, would you leave it plain, or put some variance of color in the background?

It seems to me, in this case, the background is an artistic decision that should be left up to you. I wouldn
