portrait of Noor
This is a portrait I painted this summer. She is two years old and the daughter of my best friend. What I like about it, is that it really is a summer portrait, made after a day at the beach, her hair blowing in the wind and not yet ready for bed

Very nice painting Bianca. You have a clean direct style about your paintings, not over worked. No small task these two year olds. What was the size and materials used?

I like your painterly application of the oil paints, Bianca. This is a sweet portrait, too......love the cute little nose and the way the bottom teeth appear to be in just the right place.

Bianca, the portrait is awesome! Proportions, value hue all there. Keep up the excellent work
and please continue to share such gems with us. How much time did you spend on this portrait?
Maybe you could post your process, of a portrait, in stages. I'm sure many would appreciate you sharing with us.
Thanx!
Wish you all the best.

That would be grate! Not sure if you know Susan Lyon's work. Have a look and let me know what you think www.scottburdick.com/avoriginals.htm If you look through her page you will find a lot more work datting back to the early 80s I realy like her stile, choice of subject and pose.
All the best
