This is a portrait I painted this summer. She is two years old and the daughter of my best friend. What I like about it, is that it really is a summer portrait, made after a day at the beach, her hair blowing in the wind and not yet ready for bed :)

Very nice painting Bianca. You have a clean direct style about your paintings, not over worked. No small task these two year olds. What was the size and materials used?

Thanks, the portrait is 20 x 30 cm and painted with oil on canvas.

I like your painterly application of the oil paints, Bianca. This is a sweet portrait, too......love the cute little nose and the way the bottom teeth appear to be in just the right place.
