No inconvenience at all! Mike, thank you for all the information you post and all the work you put into this forum. And, you make me laugh every day that I get on this forum with your great sense of humor.

I will take a look at these other threads that you so kindly found for me. I guess for Mother's Day I'll be at Home Depot picking out my gift - a brand new 'shop light'!

Joan, here are the images with the specs on the lights I'm using.

I am not necessarily championing these. They're just something I'm trying right now and I think they're working out fine. You will find very successful artists who say never use fluorescents, other say always use them, others think a mix of fluorescents and tungsten is ideal, and others have the big bucks invested in photo-studio lighting.

I can't begin to sort it out for you, other than to say that my procedure is to try a variety of arrangements, see what works, call that my story and stick to it.
