Thank you Enzie and Chris. Chris I like that painting of Salome, what a powerful, stunning portrait, as I recall this this is the first time that I have ever seen Salome.

Several artists that I admire have also used a golden yellow color in their backgrounds, their portraits inspired me to give it a try. Everyone here is probably familiar with Everet Raymond Kinstlers portrait of Thomas Wolfe. Sargents portrait of Eleanore O'donnel Iselin, and Ronald Sher has used golden yellow backgrounds in several of his portraits. Yellowish, gold colors to me somehow represent life, hope and a positive feeling.
