Granddaughter & departed grandfather drawing

This 16x20 pencil portrait of a granddaughter with her departed grandfather was commissioned by the woman's husband. I combined separate photos one of which of the grandfather was old and worn. I used a Blackwing pencil which is 4B on Canson pure-white paper.

Nice job Mike. What a hard composition to do, as it would be hard to do not know the height of each person.

I am sure his wife was very pleased with this.
