Below is a portrait I did at a show of a fellow artist. He is a scrimshaw artist and his booth was next to where I was set up.
The show lasted for 3 days but he could only sit for a couple of hours at most in a day, and these were often interrupted by shoppers, onlookers and prospects, not to mention friends.
I would say I spent 5-6 hours on this piece.
