The Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists (CSOPA), Affiliate Chapter of The American Society of Portrait Artists (ASOPA), proudly announces it first exhibition: "Faces of Summer ~ A Portrait Festival" August 16-18, 2002, SoundWaters Community Center, Cove Island Park, Stamford, CT (I95 Exit 9).
JUNE 5 is slide or print SUBMISSION POSTMARK DEADLINE for one to three portraits per artist. CSOPA membership is required to participate in the juried show.

Plein air demonstration by award-winning portraitist, Laurel Stern Boeck (Aug, 17 10am-12pm. No fee.)Outdoor Model (Aug 17, 2pm-4pm, $15 first 20 members) and "History of Portraiture" lecture by Louvre copyist and Parsons instructor, Mari Hulick (photo) (August 18, 5pm to 6pm. $15 for CSOPA members, $20 non-members.)
