Congratulations! Would any of you consider posting your pictures since the society is slow in posting them?

Mark,
That's a lovely portrait. Do you not have a good photograph of it or are you just having a scanning problem?

John Ennis asked me to post his portrait since he's not a registered member.

Honorable Mention, Portrait Society Children's portrait competition
Hello everybody,
I've been a SOG member since May 2006, but never got around to introducing myself on the Forum. (I just recently got hi-speed internet, so life is good now!)
Anyway, this is a nice introduction! This was the first portrait competition I have entered, although I have been a full time professional for about 30 years. (An overview of my - rather varied - Fine Art career can be seen on the bio page of my website, as I know this subject more properly belongs in the New Member Introductions section.) So without further ado, here is the portrait that was awarded Honorable Mention. Details of the fabric and expression on the girl's face can be better seen here: http://kevinportraits.com/custom/faith.html
There is an interesting explanation about what is being depicted in this portrait, if anybody is interested I will post that. This is my first post on the Forum so I hope I did everything right.

Thanks, everyone! Welcome, Kevin, and congratulations to you and all the other artists who won! This came as a big surprise to me, since the deadline for notifying winners had come and gone. The other day I got a call from John Ennis, who of course was another of the finalists, and I had no idea what he was talking about!
My entry was the portrait of George, which can be seen in the "Unveilings" section, but I'll post it again here.
