Little wonders
While the forum was sleeping over Christmas I browsed around and ended up on these little video podcasts by Duane Keiser. They are delightful for every painter and teach a lot too. To be seen on his website or downloaded from itunes.

And unfortunately also...
And also landed on a website of someone who uses other people's material, and I am not sure he has asked permission from the author.
Look and you will recognize the painting I am talking about, if you have been on the forum for a while. Web world is a small world, some people think they are clever!

...unfortunately indeed!
Wow, a bad copy of a Marvin Mattleson original. I don't read Italian, but it looks like a commercial site - the guy advertising himself as a copyist?!? ...and stealing other artists' work? Well, at least he flipped the image horizontally - maybe he thought that if he just did that, it would be perfectly OK!!
I really wonder what Marvin would say....(and thanks for sharing).

Then he has the guts to plaster his web address across the copy, worrying that someone may grab it and not give him credit!!

Hi David,
Yes, that's a commercial website.
I visited the website and he doesn't mention anything about the other artists whose works he's taken from the internet and copied.
And a funny thing about it all (I think Ilaria could help with the translation):[list][QUOTE] Non forniamo notizie pi

Claudemir, nice translation!
What a sad website anyway, it sounds as tv sale.

Yes, that's sad, but I visited the other link and I enjoyed it very much.
Thanks for sharing.
Grazie mile!
