CAC Viewpoint Exhibit
Hi everyone,
I am excited to announce that my painting "Hidden Treasure" has been accepted into the Cincinnati Art Club's Viewpoint National Exhibit. The show will open November 4 and run through November 20. This is really good news for me! 70 works of art were juried into this show. I'm not sure how many entries came in this year but last year was about 470 so I'm very happy to get in. A big thanks to Beth Schott for giving me some information and encouraging me to enter this show!

Congradulations Julie, you are very deserving! My daughter lives in Cincinnati, so I hope to get to view this in person during the show.

Congratulations, Julie! That's great. I wish you the best of luck. By the way, that shadow is so realistic at first I thought it was a photo! She could pop right off that canvas. You must have had fun on that background. Bless you for tackling that detail.

Thank you for the good wishes Patti, Lacey and Lisa! I'm glad you like the painting also. Patti, I hope you get a chance to see the show!
I almost titled this "Attack of the Dragonflies"  but thought better of it in the end. This is a painting of my sister-in-law and she really is a treasure.
