2 small figuratives

I decided to put these here. They are both 8x14" and I did them very fast. These 2, plus the Alyssa one in about 2 days (not including the drawings, which I did last week).

I feel like they are done. Perhaps they are a little looser than my usual. As always though, critiques are welcomed. The doorway of the first one is distorted. I was thinking of leaving it that way, but not sure.

I had 3 supports this size and wanted to use them, but for sure, I need smaller brushes if I am going to do anything this small again.

What beautiful paintings! Like you, the doorway doesn't bother me at all as is, and I see no reason to change it. The second painting is also very well done and really like the horizontal format. I do find my eye drifting down to the dark space at the bottom and wonder if the painting would be improved by lightening that area somewhat?

This is my first time to post here. It is so exciting to see work of such high caliber.
