10 x 14 pastel - completed

Hi -

and thanks so much to all those who helped me when this portrait was in the "Work in Progress" area: Kim, John, Terri, Lisa, Linda. (Linda, it turns out he has flushed cheeks most of the time, so I left it that way).

Your help was so appreciated! What a wonderful thing this forum is - the benefit of helpful folks with trained eyes to help catch what one might miss by oneself!

Anyway, his mom loves it - no changes. She's viewed a photo over the internet and it will be delivered to her in person tomorrow.

Julie,
This came out beautifully. It is such a sweet image and far superior to the photograph. Mom will love it!!! Let us know her reaction.

Very happy for your success!

Thanks

Thanks, everyone. It's delivered, and the parents loved it. The dad has it on his picture cell phone and the mom has emailed the picture to all her friends and tells me I'm sure to get lots of business, because she's spreading the word. Needless to say, I think that's a great idea!

Julie,

Congratulations. I agree on all counts - a very lovely piece of art and a vast improvement over the photograph.

And I'm thrilled for your success with the parents. What a feeling!

Again, congratulations and good work.
