Sam
Hi,
This is my first post. This is a portrait of my son, Sam, that I have just completed. He is painted on Canson Mi-Teintes and is 16 x 12". Any feed back would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jenni

Hi Jenni,
Welcome to the Forum! This is charming and very nicely executed, a highly "marketable" example for your portfolio if you're doing this professionally. Soft and charming pastel portraits are appealling to many clients and of course your son will have this forever.
One nit-pick: the open mouth looks like a cold dark brown on my screen; next time you might consider making it warmer.

Linda,
Thank you for your suggestion. The mouth has been bothering me, it's a dark void and warming it up will help.

Very nice work Jenni,
Would you mind sharing the brands of pastels you work with?
