question Linseed oil brand?

Hello everyone,

I feel like this is sort of a picky question but there is no one else to ask. How important is the brand when it comes to choosing cold pressed linseed oil? Am I being too picky to even worry about this.

A few days ago I went to the art store to buy linseed oil and there was cold pressed linseed oil and refined linseed oil. I came away empty handed and looked up on this forum what the difference was. (Thank you Marvin for a good explanation on one of your old posts). So today I go to buy cold pressed linseed oil and there are three different brands. Probably any one would do, as I know it's true that it's the artsit that makes the painting, not the products. But, it seems I've read about some products that aren't so great so I thought I would ask.

I think the art store had Gamblin, W&N and Grumbacher.

Thank you,

Joan
