Portrait of 'Sandy'

This was rare for me, but I finished this along with 'amanda 2' roughly the same time. This was different for me working with so much of the face in shade, so I avoided too much detail. It is charcoal on 14x20 Fabriano Tiziano 'felt gray'. Comments or critiques welcome. Thanks.

Beautiful work, Jimmie. You transitioned from pencil to charcoal without skipping a beat.

I know what your time limitations are, and I'm just amazed that you are so productive with the time you have.

Thanks Jeff.

Getting them done required me going to sleep at 3am almost everyday for two weeks. I'm not doing that again for a while!

What else can be said, but just beautiful!

When are you going to paint, I can't wait for that!

Thank you Sharon, I'm going to start pastels very soon. I was in the attic last night cutting paper, and it's still cold, but getting better.
