Two sketches




In April, I did a demonstration at Clay High School, a local school with an unusually good art program (comparatively). They had demos from professional artists in rooms in the school, and the halls were lined with the children's works, from grades 3-12. It was amazing!

I did 4 paintings in 4 hours. The first and last one were awful and have been turned into handbags. Here is the second one. This is a portrait of an awesome sitter named Brett, age nearly-17, done in 45-55 minutes.
