Suggestions needed

I have been asked in my small town to have an Open Studio night at my public studio. I have models, participants and I am working on curtains over my windows that are right on the downtown street. I have back rooms that are unused, but they are not quite big enough. So I am going to post a couple of photos of the space I am going to use and see what suggestions I can get for lighting the models. You can see this is not a perfect situation, and spending much money is not an option. There are some strange old pully wheels attached to the tin ceiling, so I have things to attach lights to. I have read & read on lighting the model, but I think the lighting here needs specific suggestions. The model is going to be in the center of this room for all to see. The front windows will be covered. The photos of the space are not great, sorry. Where the kids are is the area I will use, minus the tables. Any ideas that will not cost a fortune?

Another photo where you can see the ceiling lights. The ceiling fan and bulbs are repeated to the back, maybe 7 of them.
