Steven,

I did go into that cantina, but maybe I should have stuck to the cerveza. Instead, I sauntered over to the bar, plunked down some dinero, and ordered a shot of tequila. The barkeep poured my drink, and I downed it in a quick gulp. As the booze hit my gut I closed my eyes. My intensity-response curve slid all the way to the left until it crashed into the vertical axis, then folded like a sucker who

I remember it well. Steven's seared, sun-ripened armadillo in a polenta crust was fantastic that night! I think I still have the recipe somewhere.
