I didn't post the actual image, due to copyright issues. I thought it was funny.

Steven, great link.

I loved the one with the cave man/artist and his wife telling her friend that she has had to be both hunter and gatherer. It reminds me of my wife.

Enigmatic Art

Michael, I'm afraid the one that would resonate with my spouse would be that in which the wife asks the husband (both standing before an incomprehensible gallery piece),

For several reasons... it's nice to put this thread on top again.

Painting has a fun side also.

I wanted to bring this link back up, both because the earlier version had expired and because we've had so many new members since this was first posted. It's too much fun not to keep sharing.

Merry Christmas, and so on.

What about jokes?

I'm resurrecting this topic to add some verbal jokes.
For your enjoyment:

A woman decided to have her portrait painted. She told the painter of the commission, "Paint me wearing diamond rings, a diamond necklace, emerald bracelets, a ruby brooch, and a gold Rolex."
"But you aren't wearing any of those things," the painter replied.
"I know," the woman said. "It's in case I should die before my husband. I'm sure he will remarry right away, and I want his new wife to go crazy looking for the jewelry."

After his model -- Ambroise Vollard -- had posed for a portrait by Paul C

"At the national portrait gallery in Washington, D.C. new portraits were unveiled of former President Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton. The Smithsonian said that the portraits of Bill and Hillary will not hang in the same room. Boy, talk about art reflecting life." --Jay Leno

I was going to have cosmetic surgery until I noticed that the doctor's office was full of portraits by Picasso.
