Christmas greetings to all!

I have been working twelve hours a day and unable to post for a while. But I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed all your friendship and kindness this year. May you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Lon

Happy Holidays to everyone! I wish you all a safe and not-too-stressful Holiday Season, filled with laughter and joyful times with the ones you love.

I also wish you plenty of time to be at the easel. That's what I'm asking Santa for this Christmas!

In Celebration of the Life of an Artisan

In addition to the well wishes, I would also like to contribute the above message. I heard this recently, and had a jolt (one of those "aha" moments Oprah talks about).

In my frenetic life as a working artist, I suddenly realized how easy it became for me to forget the wonderful blessing I received.

Being up against the commercialization of today's society is not easy. We, as artisans, need to hold fast to why we approach the blank surface in the first place: to create, to express, to share a vision unique to each of us.

The beauty of the creative life lies in the ABILITY to create.

My wish for myself, and all of you, is that we make each and every day a true celebration of this wonderful privilege.

Peace, and joy.

Merry Christmas

Season's greetings to all. I can't begin to express my gratitude for all the gifts I've received from this forum alone. I wish for all, the best the world can offer and many gifts of love.

Jean
