idea The perfect drawing table

Here are some pictures of my studio. Well, mostly my custom-made table. It has a light box in the middle, which makes it great for working from photos. You can see more detail. I also use this table for custom painted needlepoint canvases. To paint one of these you must have the design completely drawn out before you start. One mistake and you have to start over and needlepoint canvas is about $30.00 per yard. So after I draw my design I tape it to my light box and lay my canvas on top. Since the mesh of this canvas is so open you can see right through it to trace your newly created design. After that you are ready to paint. See photos.

One Blind Mouse

How do you keep your eyesight? This gives "look toward the light" new meaning!

I only use the light box when I need to copy a drawing that needs to be transferred to canvas. I only copy the lines I really need then the light box is turned off. And over head table light is turned on.
