Laurel. Older but alla prima.




Most of the work I do is in the open studio.

With the holidays coming, I am trying to hang brochures in every nook and cranny in the city, but the day job also picks up when the life's work calls. Here is one from a few months ago, in oil, again, not the best likeness but an interesting piece. Her name is Laurel. That blonde bob is very distinctive and all you need for everyone to recognize her.

16x20, three hour oil on pre-textured and toned canvas.

Another evening's pose.

Here is a watercolor I did at another sitting. Very small, 8x8, I believe.
