H & G Commission

Sister and brother. Her hair was WILD and very blond. I took over 200 photos of these kids, I think 180 of them were blurry, getting them to sit still was quite the challenge!

Thanks for looking.

Love this tool, seeing them on the forum, I went in and made a few tweeks with some dark lines, the shading lower right corner of her drawing, his face a smidgen too wide, adjusted them. I am so excited my next two commissions consist of four boys between the ages of three and six. and they are going to be paint sketches in black and white - YES!!!

Lovely work, Patty! I'm beginning to recognize your signature style. I had to laugh at the photo - she looks QUITE active!

Patty, since I just responded on your camera post, I must add that if you decide to buy a lens in addition to the kit lens, you would LOVE an f/1.4. It is so fast that can often get clear shots of my darting 2 year old--even in low, indoor light without a flash. I don't love the fixed 50mm, but it's WAY cheaper than a 1.4 or 1.8 zoom.

In other words, you definitely would have been able to get clear shots of these adorable kids.

Well done. I love your style in your b&w portraits.

Patty, that last photo of her really would make a great painting! By the way, it was so nice to see you at the Butler.
