I must say I agree with Terri--the hair is excellent. Curly hair like that is tough to get just right!

Thank you! The curly hair is exactly why I knew it had to be completed in charcoal. Had I attempted this in graphite I would be in a nuthouse right now!!!

Wonderful portraits of the sisters! I like your description of how you chose to use charcoal. It feels good to know in advance how you are going to approach a drawing or painting, what medium would work best and why. The hair is admirable!
