David, Claudemir, Mara, Carlos and Alex, thank-you very much! I really enjoyed doing this. I learned a lot about using watercolour. With commissions, which I haven't done for some years, I tended to be quite conservative with watercolour and paint by dots and dry brush so as to not leave too much to risk, but with this one, my mind just would not allow tightness and, in fact, the paint created a much more meaningful suggestion of reality when I let the watercolour soak into the paper, and made more abstract ares of colours that worked in harmony with the other colours. I just worked with the colour and the suggestion of reality seemed to take care of itself.

(I am going to be without internet service for a few weeks, so if I don't seem to participate for a while, this is why).
