Help!
Hi, I'm not sure I'm in the right place for this question, but here goes: I just got the Paint Shop Pro Ultimate x2 update, and now I can't figure out how to erase my flash drive.
Before I installed the update my photos downloaded through Windows, and I would open in them in Paint Shop, but since installing the update they download through Paint Shop. When I download pictures from either of my cameras it works just fine, I can choose whether I want to erase the pictures from my memory card or not. But when I plug in the flash drive it just wants to download. I can't just open the files to look at them or erase them.
I checked my flash drives on my husband's computer and I can make them do what I want on his, so I know the flash drive isn't defective.
Does anyone else here have the update and how have you dealt with this problem? There's probably a simple answer for this, but it's beyond me at this point.

Ok, I figured out how to open it and just look without downloading. I just plug it in, ignore the download prompt, and go to the file at the top of the Paint Shop page and open it there, but I still can't erase it, so I still need help.
I even tried downloading the images to see if it would prompt for an erase and it doesn't.

Debra,
Open Windows Explorer and click on computer. This will list all of your drives including the flash drive if it is plugged in. Click on the flash drive and all of your photos will show up in a list. You can then selectively delete some or all of them.

Richard, Thanks so much!!! I KNEW there had to be a simple answer. The funny thing is, this morning when I plugged in the flash drive, the regular prompt popped up instead of what I was fighting with last night. I guess I had spent so much time in Paint Shop yestereday it decided it was the default for the day. Anyway, I tried your way too, and of course it worked, so if I have this problem again I know how to take care of it.
Thanks again!
