Hello Paul,

Self portraits are great practice tools, and you get such a willing model. This looks nice. I like the use of broken color in it - very fresh and interesting.

Paul, I really like this strong, direct, vigorous paint - there's a sense of urgency to this technique.

Thanks guys for the comments. Ive been working out side all summer teaching tennis and wanted to paint a self portrait to work with all these new colors from the sun. I did paint this one in four sittings, I usually will sit for a much longer time.
