Gallery trip

I just went up to the Dowling Walsh Gallery in Rockland today and got to see some of Alexandra's work in person at the Monhegan show. It was quite a thrill to see the actual work and not just online.

Of course the show was almost entirely landscape, as was most of the rest of the work in the gallery, with a few exceptions. I am hoping that they will have more figurative work in the future, but I suspect landscape will continue to predominate. This is Maine after all.

I am planning to go to Vermont sometime next month to see the Mary Cassatt exhibit in Shelburne. I anyone from the forum is planning to go maybe we could rendezvous.
