Enzie - she is intense and can speak volumes with her expressions which what I tried to capture in the drawing. I can't wait to paint her.
Thanks Christy, Mary, Alexandra, David and Julie. She will definately be drawn and painted many times over her life, if I have anything to say! I will try to post a close-up. My technique was very fine washes of graphite using 2H then 2B, some charcoal for the darkest darks, and in the end I go over it all with a fine 2H wash. Her face is so soft I wanted to try to capture that and still get the range of values.

you'r a natural. Your drawing is so alive and you have a fine sense for variation of the drawing marks.
Doesn't she look like her grandmother?
