Aaron, these are beautiful. I keep hoping to get over to your open studio sessions there in downtown Seattle, but I never seem to get out of the studio!

Aaron, these are wonderfully fresh. I always admire your use of greys alongside deep and/or more intense color. Though I like them all, I think my favorite is the last one because you've accentuated all these nuances--her wild hair ending at her breasts, her side-lit eyelids, the odd expression in the corner of her mouth, and the slightly awkward pose--that make her seem real. As you might have noticed, I get tired of the young female stereotype and I enjoy seeing some humanity in a painting of a woman.
