Thank-you very much Chris and Alex. I am hoping that, because of the other work the gallery shows, it will attract quite a bit of press interest, which is always helpful to one's career, isn't it?

Very nice piece you posted, by the way. It has movement and even sound is implied--very intriguing.

Thanks Linda, Carlos and Marina. And thank-you, Carlos, for commenting on the painting. I enjoy painting musical and theatrical themes. I just saw a production of Carmen this Sunday and was inspired to paint something along those lines once I am (finally) finished with my current painting. There were lots of jagged lines and wonderful reds in the sets, which might be a good challenge from the usual earth colours I paint with.
