Yes, I try to make the brushmarks look painted, there's plenty of room for variations using different brushes and knife plus thinned and pastose paint, enough to emulate various textures.

Just beautiful. I love your lively brushstrokes, masterfully done.
The picture is so well balanced in composition, colours, your portrayal of the background.

Another absolutely beautiful one, Allan! I can just feel the sun on her face and the air around her. I love the strokes that describe the scene in the background. She's really in the landscape.
