This is my grandson, Jamie, age three. My first portrait out of school. I don't remember the exact size, but it's somewhere around 32 x 24.

He has such an alert look about him. I'll bet his parent are delighted to get such a sweet portrait of their son.

Nice work, Debra! I like the simplicity of the penguin, and the big red and white stripes in his shirt. His expression is adorable. That and the hand position really give me the feeling that I am looking at an individual.

Thank you all, I think he's adorable too, but then I'm his gramma. And if I were to paint him again, instead of a penguin, he would have a pug whose name changes weekly (after the girls in his preschool class.)
