Christmas Painting




It's been well over a year since I've painted a person of any age. I've been doing all still life for quite a while. For my annual Christmas painting this year I really wanted to do a figurative/portrait. I must say that I really enjoyed it and have another planned for the easel this week.

I know I'm late but, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

That's one enchanted kid. You caught him just in time -- no sitting for a portrait or even a photo once that sugar fix kicks in!

You're right Steven! The photo was taken 6 years ago and I wish I could remember what he was looking at. It felt good to capture that fleeting moment in paint!
