Kinstler Portrait Show at Museum Of City Of New York

Twelve of us went to the opening reception last July. Over 700 people attended breaking all records for the museum. In addition to the gorgeous paintings, we were impressed by how gracious the artist was in making everyone who attended feel personally welcome. What a great painter! What a great person!

I was fortunate to be able to see this show in New York in August -- I enjoyed it but wish there had been more pieces. I particularly liked his portrait of Paul Newman.

Chen Chi's standard name should be Cheng Ji, means "Journey Reach(ed)"
