Enzie,
Thank you for taking the time to point a few things out to me. Her hand is actually her hand plus part of her arm (count the fingers and
you will know where the arm starts) I am not sure if that is what you were pointing out with her hand being too big or not.
Here she is to date

I am not sure what happened to my post, but I will try this again.
In it I thanked you Enzie, and don't worry, I'm not offended at all.
Here is another attempt at posting this.

OK, I had a little problem posting these and ended up with two photos of the same thing. I hope I fixed it.
Kim......... it's the fumes!

Hi Janel,
I think that there must be some reflections in the vase and a larger shadow under the hand/ arm like I have suggested on the psh manipulation.
Also you will need to lighten the back a bit.
I like the Peacock feathers looking.........I would.

Ah, didn't count the fingers...
The arm is still off though and I tried to fix it and point arrows to the area that has to be shaved off. I now see where her pinky meets up with the lower part of the arm. It all looks like one big mass, so make sure to use shadow under the pinky (3-4 value shift) to make it pop out. Same goes for the thumb, since that one is very close in value to the stomach, it is hard to see.
I love the way the vase turned out, just beautiful!

Didn't I tell you to stop sniffing those?
This is coming along nicely Janel. You mustve taken down the first one? I wanted to see how different they looked. I remember mostly though and this is improving greatly!
I am loving the cushion she is sitting on, the fabric reads perfect.

Thanks Kim,
It was the fumes. But you cleared my head. I knew I deleted one of the images so at least I know I am not going crazy. I accidentally deleted the FIRST one, as you pointed out.
It is back now, and I took out the duplicate so I think I am on the right track. At least with posting the painting. I worked on her a little more yesterday and I will post an updated image soon.
Thanks for your help.
You too Enzie..... I will be looking at that arm again.

Was this painted from life or from a photograph?

100% from a photograph. I hired this model through a modeling agency. She is from
Georgia and was traveling to my area so I only had her for 4 hours.
