Beth,

Congratulations on a fine portrait! I admire your determination to do justice to this lady even with such distinct reference challenges. Your patience has really paid off. Way to go!

In Living Color!

Dear Beth,

Congratulations! What a nice bold design and fearless use of color. I'm sure your subject would approve! Her lovely portrait is evocative of the period. My earliest recollections and perceptions were that people in 1956 lived in a black and white world, and your compelling portrait certainly dispells that notion! (I date back to '58).

Garth

Great job Beth. I see your style developing with each new painting. I love the eyes and the new composition.

Hope all is well with you. Congratulations!

Congrats

Congratulations on another successful portrait!

As Alicia said, your style is developing. I think I could pick one of your painings out of a line-up.

Keep 'em coming!
