I like this so much! Such a strong face and painted with assurance. Every time I see you have posted something from a live model I know it's going to be good.

Thank you all. And Chris Especially. (I posted it initially in the wrong forum.)

I just enjoy a critique from Linda Brandon and Chris Saper because we swim in the same model pool.

The experience on Saturday was indeed intense. I was right behind Clayton Beck. For a "step back and place" instructor, I was interested in why he sat at a horse in the front row. Unfortunately there was an easel between me and his progress but I was enjoying the personal "competition". I have a mentor that says that is a big problem in open studio. One tends to vie for the best likeness, not always the best picture. I do agree. I sort of like the challenge.

It was a huge joy to have an instructor in the studio. It is good for the school, as a lure to the commoners ("MAYBE I can see the teacher side by side") and as an impetus to a higher quality of work.
