Wow, it's lovely, Rui! Thank you for giving us a link to the large image and closeups so we can see your brushwork. I'm very impressed that such detail is combined with relaxed, descriptive, brushstrokes. There is such a lively feeling in the sky, a tenderness in the green leaves, spikiness in the grass, smoothness in the skin, etc. Very, very nice!

What a gorgeous painting, not just a portrait but a work of art that anyone would be proud to hang on their wall.

Dear Rui,

You have indeed brought this lovely painting to a magical conclusion. (I don't wear any, but...) My hat's off to salute you! As I told you before, you have captured an angel, with your visual poetry. I love your brushwork!

Garth

Rui--
So nice to see this finished!. . . the basket with flowers in front of her so perfectly completes it. Just beautiful!

Rui,

What a spectacular finish! Your painting has such a joyous mood on top of being so well done. You should be so proud.

Dear Rui,

What a beautiful work. I admire the masterly way in which you managed the edges and the high key tones of this lovely painting.

Bravissimo
Ilaria
