More of Les.

I have had a slow day job and remembered the school has Monday long poses so I made it in this rainy Monday. There were two of us painting and our favorite cowboy, Les.

My co-painter left after the second hour and I had most of him done, so I took a quick snapshot of his hands and cleaned them up at home.

Here is a 22 x14 or so sketch on a piece of pre-primed canvas off a roll.

Love it!

Hi Debra,

It looks like you put a lot of time in up front working out your composition. I love the painterliness of this. The details are suggested so well and yet the strokes are broad. Great texture! Love the weatherbeaten face.

This looks so spontaneous and alive.
