Congratulations Beth - these came out very very nice! It's a kind, sweet thing you are doing for the families and you should be very proud of these. You should post photos when you get the lettering on - I'd like to see that.

Good work Beth, I am sure they will love it. I feel your anxiety regarding the lettering...take your time with it.

Hats off to you Beth.

I imagine these were difficult and emotionally challenging to complete. They look great. You should be very proud and honored.

Viewing these has made me stop and think. I was feeling badly for myself because things came up and kept me from being able to paint. Poor me.

I don't feel badly anymore. I feel VERY lucky. Thank you to the men and women who put your lives in harms way, and to the families of those who gave their lives so I have the luxury to paint tomorrow.

Thanks guys!

Janel I certainly understand your sentiments!

David I have painted over the text once already, I am so bad at this, but I have to get something in there.

Beth, these turned out beautifully--I like the contrast that you added, it gives them so much more volume. Well done.

Thank you Beth. These are wonderful little paintings you've done and I'm sure the exhibit would be a very moving thing to see. I hope it travels so I'll be able to go see it.

Thank you for doing these paintings and for giving the information on the organization.

Julie

Congratulations Beth,

You have done a wonderful job here.

I must admit that I thought that it seemed almost impossible to paint from these references.

Well, mission impossible, you did it!
