This was a quick portrait. I am working toward a more direct style. And this is one of about 15 paintings I am working on. Another should be ready very soon. Hope you all like it.

From life or not?
Well, yes and no. I started this from life then worked on it more from a photo I took during that sitting.
I usually have a final sitting to fix things or add things I did not get from the photo but on this one I finished from the photo reference only.
