Thanks Sharon! . . . was surprised at how much I was able to get done so quickly. It really helped mixing up the colors before the longer poses --and there is a certain freedom that comes from knowing that this was just for practice. Managed to get a good likeness of the model, but wasn't really worrying about that while painting. Thought of it more as taking notes, color notes, on what was in front of me.

Because of school vacation and a scheduling conflict, the life group isn't meeting again until March 8th, so I'll get to try this again, if they'll tolerate me!
