Thank you Heidi, Tim and Carl.

Tim I use this composition quite a bit, straightforward in your face against the rules stuff. I like the unsettling and somewhat uncomfortable situation it put the viewer in, almost like a faced to fact confrontation.

Carl, I use only graphite, Mechanical pencils. .5, B and 2B softer leads flatten the paper and give it to much shine.

Armin,

If your small self image to our left is a self portrait I would love to see a larger image. I'm thinking it may be the best of the bunch.
