I'm almost done with this, it's pastel 22" x 19" on Colourfix sanded paper. I need to finish Nancy's hands and work some more on the sweater and Sadie's fur.
Here's a close up of their faces. If Nancy looks similar to me its because she's my sister. It's been interesting working on this because of both the similarities and the differences in our features. It's a little spooky.
Well, Nancy got her hands and Sadie got some more fur. My sister has very long graceful hands with very little of life's abuses showing. Mine have scars, veins, wrinkles, freckles, and red blotches. It was interesting to concentrate on her hands for a reason, instead of just looking in admiration.
