I like this. I like that awkward age.

I do not know if it is my monitor, but I see the shape of an eye under his raised arm. Now that I look closer I can see the vague shape of a nose and mouth. Am I having a flashback or is there a face there? If it isn't my monitor was it intentional?

Thanks Kimberly and Josef, your kind words are an encouragement. Pastels have been a relatively new medium for me, but I have really enjoyed the experiement. Kim... the face in the background was not intended, but thanks for the observation. It is always nice to have another set of experienced eyes to catch these things.
