Building a portfolio

In a previous post, Cynthia Daniel indicated the frequency with which portraits sell, by subject. She wrote something to the effect of: "Portraits sell in this order - little girls, little boys, women, men". I wonder, Cynthia, if that includes corporate/academic/governmental portraits. I see so many of those on various portrait sites that I have to think that men make up a huge percentage of all the portraits commissioned. Can someone enlighten me further? Thanks.
