I can feel her indigestion!

It has the wonderful blush and joyful fatigue of a mother in waiting. There is a nice mood.
I am waiting to hear what the pros say about the background.

Personally, I have a lot of trouble making them interesting hence my tendency to crop in tightly on the face and focus on features, rather than mood. My guts say it needs something more. I am not sure exactly what or how. Perhaps darkening the outter edges so it does not take your eye to the corner where there is nothing more to see?
I will keep an eye on this post.

Debra may as well have spoken for me too. I'm not sure how much I can contribute, but just as an observer, I'd say something feels off...maybe the combination of greens or that there are so many greens. I realize she is pregnant, but even so, she appears to be slouching. One last thing, her face color, at least on my screen, seems to lean to purple.

I like the expression on her face, which is very natural and also appealing. I think I would like her. You captured something about her softness I think. The hair is lovely, as is the upper part of her dress.

I too am curious to see what people on this forum with more experience than I will say. Even tho' I'm not a pro, you may like having 'ordinary mortals' opinions too!

Very nice job!
Margaret
